For us, Choo Choo Express is more than just a car wash. It is the result of years of friendship, hard work, sacrifice, and a shared dream.
We're Jay Bruninga and Kamarri Childress, two lifelong friends who grew up together and have always shared the same drive to build something of our own. Today, at just 21 and 20 years old, we're proud to call ourselves the owners of Choo Choo Express Car Wash.
Our journey in the car wash industry started years before becoming owners. We both began working in the car wash business when we were teenagers, and it didn't take long for us to realize how much we enjoyed it. Over the years, we worked for different car wash companies, learning everything we could about the industry, from taking care of customers and maintaining equipment to managing employees and understanding what makes a car wash successful.
But our biggest goal was always ownership.
When the opportunity came to purchase Choo Choo Express, we knew achieving that dream was going to require sacrifice. We made the decision to leave home and head to the oil fields, where we worked hard and saved our money with one goal in mind: buying our own car wash. The long days and time away from home weren't easy, but we knew what we were working toward.
Eventually, all of that hard work paid off, and Choo Choo Express became ours.
Today, we bring that same work ethic and determination to the wash every single day. We're hands on owners who genuinely enjoy being at the property, talking with our customers, working alongside our team, and finding new ways to make Choo Choo Express better.
One of the biggest things we've learned throughout our years in the car wash industry is that the customer experience matters. We want every person who visits Choo Choo Express to feel welcomed, appreciated, and confident that they're getting a great wash for their money. We listen to our customers, pay attention to the small details, and constantly look for ways to improve.
We also want Choo Choo Express to be a place where our employees can grow, learn, and enjoy coming to work. Our goal isn't simply to own a successful business. It's to build a company that creates opportunities for the people around us and becomes an important part of the Chattanooga community.
We may be young, but this industry has been a major part of our lives for years. We love what we do, we love serving our customers, and we're excited about what the future holds.
